Who we are…
Bio-Vet researches, manufactures and markets innovative direct fed microbial (probiotic) products.
Bio-Vet started in 1991 as a division of a larger animal nutrition company. In 1996, Bio-Vet was incorporated and has functioned as an independent entity ever since.
Products, research, marketing and sales are focused toward optimizing livestock health and productivity with nationwide product distribution.
Bio-Vet products are marketed through the practicing veterinary profession and production animal professionals.
In 1994 Bio-Vet received its first patent (U.S. Patent 5,310,555) for its capsule-in-a-capsule™ packaging technique for direct fed microbial, nutritional combinations. This innovative technique continues to be the marquis for Bio-Vet and all direct fed microbial, nutritional combination products. Bio-Vet now holds two patents for this critical packaging technique.
Today, Bio-Vet offers a complete line of products, including capsules, pastes, soluble powders, calf and cattle electrolytes and daily feed additives. Bio-Vet continues to
expand its product line, as new technology in the direct fed microbial industry becomes available. Bio-Vet products are used to create an entire direct fed microbial program for livestock.
Our Philosophy…
Bio-Vet offers a unique approach to animal production. The direct fed microbial / nutritional products in Bio-Vet’s program can help maximize digestive tract efficiency and homeostasis. Products are encouraged to be used as part of a complete management program for optimal benefits. The product line is diverse and versatile enough to fit into any existing program.
Bio-Vet products represent state of the art formulations and concepts in the probiotic industry. Products have been and will continue to be developed with quality and innovation in mind.
Bio-Vet’s marketing approach is to supply its products through veterinarians, animal health professionals, animal nutritionists and an educated supply network who can offer advice, solutions and programs for the many different problems animal producers encounter.
Products, marketing and packaging reflect Bio-Vet’s commitment to produce the most reliable, consistent nutritional / microbial supplements, paying particular attention to supplying countable, viable microbes to the producer at the time of use.
